At the Car Wash

Mr K has been meaning to take Marshall down to the jet wash at Tesco pretty much since we bought him! He went the other day, declared it a huge success and now there's no stopping him!!
We popped to the garden centre to look at the price of their slate chippings and to buy some seeds and on the way back Mr K insisted on taking my car to the jet wash. He's like a man possessed!!
It does look better I must admit.
It was Miss E's first time back at rock climbing today since March last year. She was a bit nervous as it would be all different with new people but she was excited about going back. It's what she's missed more than anything else during all the Coronavirus crappiness.
All the tables and chairs have gone from inside so I sat in the car while she was in there, listening to Audible. It seemed like she was in there for hours!
She was a bit quiet when she came out. She said the others were all quite a bit older or quite a bit younger so she didn't feel like she had anyone to talk to. And the instructor just told them what to do and so all the climbs were much easier than she was capable of.
There are a few different session times so I said I'd see about trying to find out if any of her old group are there at different times and swapping to be with them.
Fingers crossed she sticks with it. She's been going since she was seven and she loves it.
Home to a roast cooked by Mr K - what a treat! - and then a few more episodes of A Series of Unfortunate Events
