Wildlife Pond

Today’s picture is of a small section of my small wildlife pond. There are some buttercups growing in the rockery and some watercress flowering in the pond. I have not seen any wildlife this year, except some snails, but hopefully a frog or two will appear during the summer. I need to put some more watercress in as the frogs seem to like it.
 
The extra, for my record is of our large natural pond, which after all the rain we have had, now has now filled with water again.
 
The temperature at GMT noon once again was twelve degrees Celsius. It feels quite cold as it is very windy and there have been some quite heavy rain showers.
