The Minister’s Stable

Ministers in the late 19th century certainly lived a much grander lifestyle than the current incumbents.

Today’s Blipfoto shows the stable block where the minister’s horse team which pulled his carriage, trap, Hanson Cab or whatever were fed and watered while he preached to his congregation.

It is a neat little building with great development potential. It is located behind Roseberry Cottage which was the Beadle’s House.

It is the property to the south of us and the plot size is about half an acre.

How times have changed.

Our plumbing system is now functioning normally thanks to Tomasz, our wonderful plumber, builder, plasterer, painter, carpenter, etc, etc.

Spent  yesterday afternoon in a meeting with the local NFU Mutual insurance agent discussing quoting for our house and contents insurance.

Then had a virtual champagne cocktail event with Mr and Mrs Dog celebrating Mr Dog’s actual birthday.

I hasten that the Champagne was real.
