We’ll Gather Lilacs In The Spring Again

Our ancient Lilacs are reaching the stage where Lilacs can be gathered, as today’s Blipfoto shows.

Temperatures are slowly rising, but still the rain showers persist. It is a day for working inside.

Pat is painting a miniature which will form the wedding congratulations card for the ”Puppies" forthcoming nuptials.

Pat spends several hours with her sister and cousins discussing the ill health of their last remaining aunt and how best her care can be managed.

Not an easy conversation, and one I am relieved not to be involved in.

As some aged soul remarked "Old Age does not come itself."

Currently reading a novel by Ian Banks which features a rather touching scene between a nephew and his aged Aunt who has been diagnosed with an inoperable "oma".
