sunlight on the quince tree

A bit of an emergency blip today... Frieda was with us this morning, and we are all currently nursing snotty colds.  Fortunately Frieda was happy to curl up for most of the morning with books, snacks, cuddles and chat. None of us was really up for anything more energetic. Marianna arrived to pick her up at lunchtime, as fed up as the rest of us with that blocked-up-nose feeling.

So my only foray outdoors today has been a quick wander round the garden, looking at fruit setting on the cherry, the quince and the gooseberries. This is generally a very therapeutic way to spend a few minutes :-)
