A helping hand

Late to bed, slept ok, awake early but went back, off, up before 9, down, breakfasted and ready to get on the road just after 10.30.

A grey ol day, a few showers, got to sis's, she needed some help tying her shoelaces and zipping her coat, but had managed to shower and do her hair & didnt look like Ken Dodd ;-)

We went to Litecract to get the outdoor lights I wanted for on the garage and one with a sensor to replace the old fashioned lantern
on the front of the house. Also treated myself to a new lamp for the lounge.

We had some lunch whilst out, I had to cut sis's cheese on toast up a little but she managed. A quick visit ot M&S and Sainsburys for. few things before going back to sis's where Kobi was on hand to help her take her coat off, as you can see here, Luckily she had trained him to do this for a specific trick some time ago!!

I did all the chopping and peeling for dinner, sis and BiL dished up between them, a lovely lamb loin chop roast dinner with cauli and cabbage :-)

I headed gome Round 8, not so bad a journey home as Sunday, got nack just on 9. Shopping away, unpacked my lights, was fristrated to find that the sensor one does not matchmthe other two exactly, a different chrome finish and the base of the new lamp is wobbly........how frustrating, got 14 days to take them back :-/

Watched Long Lost Family and our Yorkshrie Farm tonight and am now getting ready to turn in.

No tears to speak of today.......Im comfortable buying the new lights and lamp, as we had talked about it being something we needed to do, I think hub would approve.....and Ive made a bit more progress on the wedding ring and ashes front....a plan is emerging.

Stay safe and well everyone
