Five homes

This dwelling fascinates me. It's not quite a row house, but it's close. Listings online say it was built in 1900.

I went for a nice bike ride today. I rode 6 miles (9.5 km) round trip to the Cumberland bone cave. The cave was found around 1912 when work was being done on the Western Maryland Railway. Inside the cave were prehistoric fossils of badgers, saber-toothed cats and dozens of other mammal species.

It was great to get out again. It was really humid (71%) and my desert body is not used to that, so I was sweating a lot before I even started riding. But once I rode, the breeze felt wonderful. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'm going to ride again. Eventually I want to make it to the tunnel in the trail, but that's twice as far. I'm not in shape enough to do that distance.
