Pretty abstract...

... though not sure it fits simplicity since a spider’s web is an incredibly complex piece of engineering.
It was in the doorway of the one man prison on the island of Herm. This prison was mainly used in the days when there silver mine was still being (unsuccessfully) mined and it wasn’t unheard of for one of the miners to have a drop too much to drink and become unruly. Still happens occasionally today but now the drunks would be unceremoniously arrested and taken to Guernsey.
I was in Herm for a guided walk about ghostly goings on in Herm. So a good day out and m6 first boat trip for a while.
