At last some welcome colour...

...in the border, on a damp grey day... 
We did get out for a quick bike ride after breakfast, and called in for coffee at the farm on the way home. They are revving up for a busy Bank Holiday weekend, so I guess we'll not be calling in for a while ;) 
Supposed to have an eye test this aft - didn't even have to go to Barnard Castle for it - but they rang to cancel as the optician had rung in ill. Rearranged for tomorrow instead, so not too long a wait!
Instead I caught up on some "life admin" - soooo tedious making calls and waiting for someone to call back... Ordered some new bedding on line, and updated my details with Yorkshire Sculpture Park.... so not a totally wasted afternoon...
