Passing By

Spent the day at Montargil, up north, for our first in-person get together in quite a while (and only half the team). I did a talk on questions in the Bible, there are LOADS. Skimmed through the gospels and counted how many questions Jesus asks, here's the tally (which is approximate):
Matthew: 82
Mark: 66
Luke: 101
John: 45
Makes me think we need to ask more questions, rather than always being ready with an answer...

The photo is Evoramonte on the way back, gorgeous smell of mimosa while I was taking it - the location for the signing of the peace treaty in 1834, after Portugal's only civil war in 900 years of history. You can see the balcony of Vicki and Mitch's fantastic place below the tower in the middle. If you ever pass this way, go up and have a glass of wine while you enjoy the incredible views. Not that we had time today.

Gratefuls:
- safe driving there and back
- seeing people in the flesh again
- folk appreciating my (very interactive) talk
