Geum

Best day of the year (weather wise).  After toiling in the morning, cleaning the decking and patio and finishing off the pointing of the new area of slabs, the afternoon was more relaxing, sitting in the garden under a cloudless sky.

I just about managed to drag myself to explore the garden with the camera and found this geum, recently planted amongst more established plants.  I'm sure I'd read the label saying it will grow higher, but on this occasion it is competing with the likes of forget me not and heuchera and only just making a showing.  The image hopefully suggests it is in amongst the other plants.
