Going with the grain

Wow, what a lovely grain this wood has! Wish I could remember what it was. The choice is hazel or ash. But as I got the bits of wood on the same day it was inevitable I would get them muddled. Finishing off this spoon was definitely the best bit of my day.

Ooh, blipcentral have just told me this was my 500th blip. Where did those 500 plus days go? I must say I have had so much pleasure looking at all your fabulous photos.
