The Edgware Road, London

I love being in London as the theatres empty and the city's buzzing with activity and happy faces. We were still chuckling as we left the Haymarket where we'd seen One Man, Two Guvnors at the Theatre Royal. Sooo funny!

Last night we were at the Royal Society to hear the Bakerian Lecture given by Professor David Leigh on Making the Tiniest Machines - fascinating, and very entertaining, as the prof is a dab hand at conjuring tricks, too, which he weaved seamlessly into his talk. Fun and informative, even for someone like me who's not of a maths/science bent, i.e. I'm interested in science, but not good at getting my head round some of the concepts.

So here's a view from 8 floors up of the Edgware Road. Much like any other city street, really. With the added glisten of some late sleet. Otherwise, since yesterday's snow, it's been sunny, with a cold NE wind.
