Flight hiccup..

Here we are in an aeroplane sitting in Amsterdam. The photo was taken about 15 minutes after we were due to fly, but it had just been announced they have found a crack in the engine. We are waiting to disembark, to get a different plane: One that works hopefully.

There may be a delay of around three hours, but at least it won't prevent us getting tomorrow morning's onward flight to Victoria Falls.

By the way, when we arrived early in the morning here it was minus 3 degrees. But at least the sun is out and shining brightly as we wait..and wait a little more....

Update: arrived late in Jo'burg and this morning 13 March caught flight to Victoria Falls, now in the hotel and sending yesterday's Blip. Will do a hotel Blip soon...stunning.
