Amethyst Iris

In another of the "in our small, tenemental front-garden" series ... this tall 'Amethyst (I think it is?) Iris' is looking quite magnificent at the moment ;-)

... and the current spell of excellent Scottish weather just keeps on continuing - starting to believe that our imminent trip up to Strathcarron (planned in March, and now only 10-days away!) may actually see us enjoying some Highland sunshine?
