Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 3 - Day 25

River Avon, Hanham Mills

Set off from home for a walk with a friend this morning. We followed the River Avon as far as Hanham Mills, the half way point of our walk, where we had the choice of two riverside pubs; the perfect spot for a much needed cold drink, cloudy but a very muggy 23 degrees.

From the river our walk took us up to Hanham Court and church (see first extra - a rare example of a small Manor House attached physically to the local church), then through several fields of cows (I’ve never walked so quickly!), back down to the river and my favourite riverside local. After walking 5 miles we deserved, and needed, a rest and a refreshing Zummerzet Zider!

In my second extra more scenes from my walk, including a Damselfly trying to hide behind a blade of grass, and a sign that put the fear of god in me!

Take care, stay safe and well...
