Stalked / Gepirscht

The story of storks delivering babies orininated in this part of northern Germany, though it was considered lucky to have a nest on your roof right back in Roman times.

There are certainly many to be seen here - but I’ve never before seen one quite as adventurous as this…

We learned a bit about them in our local Tierpark, including that they are verocious carnivores who stalk their prey - although on this occasion my kids turned the tables and stalked the stork!
