Macedonian Scabious - in Cambridge!

A day trip to Cambridge, where it was interesting to see large scale naturalistic landscaping in the newer University developments: grasslands with huge populations of Ox-eye Daisy and Common Knapweed as well the odd newcomer such as Macedonian Scabious; hedges and old oak trees; and a diverse wetland along the course of the old Cambridge Canal, with Ragged Robin, Pink Water-speedwell and Water-cress, among many others. And lots of walkways and cycleways to allow people to enjoy the flowers and associated wildlife...
