This plant is now in full flower in our front garden. A really delightful sight. (Cistus Ladanifer.)
I couldn't find our eclipse glasses from four years ago, so we viewed today's partial eclipse by shining sunlight (when it appeared through the clouds) through a pinhole in a piece of card on to a sheet of white paper. In the projected image of the sun, we could clearly see the "bite" taken out of the sun by the moon. However, nowhere near as impressive as the total eclipse we saw in 2017.
