Wash and Grow

A mini Vidal perhaps? Little D is honing his hairdressing skills, using Miss A as a model. Lather, rinse and repeat.

We've been keeping out of mischief this week, not a lot to report other than a lovely Mother's Day starting with breakfast in bed, unfortunately cut short when the kids asked if they too could have breakfast in bed. I've never hopped out of bed so fast in all my days, desperate to be a shining example of eating at the breakfast table. I also received two lovely cards, a vase with paper flowers from Little D and a cake which Miss A baked at nursery. Ok, scrub the last on the list, there was never a hope in hell the cake was going to be mine - Miss A had it marked from the moment it came out of the oven and it was snaffled up 3 days before Mother's Day. The thought was there though. I think.

Everything else has been pretty standard...well except for Miss A's comment the other night at the dinner table. We were talking about holidays and Miss A suddenly came out with 'Galloping hormone candle!' What?! 'It's Spanish, you know.' Eh??? I asked her what it meant but she was having none of it and proceeded to sing instead. One of life's little mysteries, I guess...
