We've had lunch with friends today but sadly at least for the time being this was a last lunch at one of our favourite restaurants.  Due to the high demand for venues to host weddings, the proprietor has taken the decision to suspend Sunday lunches until the huge backlog of weddings has been accommodated.  The restaurant is part of an hotel which is an historic Jacobean manor and one of the most beautiful and welcoming places we go to;  however as long as it's still there when normal life resumes, then that's OK.

Many thanks for the wonderful response to yesterday's set of images from Ford Green Hall, I'm so pleased you liked them.  I'd never heard of Ford Green until I saw the workshop advertised but if you're ever in the Stoke area then it's well worth a visit.
