Hill of Tarvit Opens

The first day of opening and all of the visitors have to prebook. There are many sanitising and mask regulations to be observed and everyone complies with good grace.

It is hot today. That means 26C for us. The day progressed well, and the new route through the house went well. Visitors came on time and apart one group which split up there was no problem.

Grace, goodwill and a willingness to resolve any problems meant that the split group were able to see everything.

The house was warm, however, we did have some open doors and windows to provide cooling breezes.

No one has guided since 29 February. It is amazing how quickly information not used since then came.

The downside is standing or walking for 6 hours or so in shoes not worn for two years. Everybody was tired and sore.

A great day and hopefully the start of normality returning.
