Avocado plant

Last year at this time, I was beginning to think it was a waste of time attempting to grow an avocado plant from a stone, but after several attempts one germinated last September. It's flourished, and nine months later now fills the width of the kitchen window. Need to find it a more suitable place to live before it gets much bigger!

A 'bitty' sort of day - managed to get lots of little, inconsequential jobs done, as well as some Babbeling in French, exercise on the bike, and a bit more messing around on Ancestry. No exciting revelations today!
