Skate boarders

Due to Covid restrictions schools and parks have been closed in Chiang Mai. However, like adults, young people also need to socialise. These young people gather at the Three Kings Monument in the evening to skate board. They are not noisy, they are not causing any problems, however, when they first started to get together the police moved them on. I think public opinion overturned that decision. These youngsters are well organised and even have refreshments with them, and hopefully a first aid kit. This is an activity that scares me, but Thai people have a fantastic sense of balance and good deportment. This is probably because they are use to riding on motorbikes, as it something they do from being babies.

There is some talk of restaurants being allowed to serve alcohol again. Bars will still not be able to open. Also schools are starting to open again.
