Deserted

After meetings with three happy PhD students, I did a bit more work before hoovering the house and heading off to Edinburgh. The shopping trip was curtailed because time was pressing, and after seeing Mum I headed off to pick A up from the airport. Since A is quarantining, and the two girls were out, we settled on a take-away to celebrate A's return and K's last day of school. After placing the order, I did a loop of the town before collecting it. I'd expected there to be more of an atmosphere with the football kick off an hour away, but the place was dead.

It was not the most exciting of games, but I was pleased that Scotland fought hard and got a point, maintaining some hope of qualification.
