Protocol

The choice of mugs for the morning tea is a delicate matter of protocol. Difficult, especially when not entirely compus mentis.

There's a pair we use for working weekday mornings, and a pair we use for weekend mornings, but when it comes to days like today, when I'm going to work but E is at home decorating there comes the involved matter of identifying a mug that is 'E's but neither work nor weekend.

I'll leave it to the reader to guess which is whose.

A mixed sort of day at work today, tired satisfaction at having got the software done; panic at finding a last minute bug; ambiguity, and excitement, about 'what next'; and finally, relief on finding a fix for the bug.
