Tropical Garden. Perhaps not.

Another Sunday and we are guiding at Hill of Tarvit. The weather is cooler and cloudier. However, the sun does make an appearance.

Pat and I have our lunch on the terrace which is linked to the Billiard Room. The "tropical, plants" lend an interesting touch.

No, I cannot identify the species, but I know someone who might. Watch this space.

The booked visitors do not turn up in quite the numbers anticipated. Father’s Day has played a part, no doubt.

The Volunteers are becoming acquainted with the new presentation of the house, and to wearing masks.

Masks can certainly muffle voices and hide facial signs which show one is happy or not.

The extra photo shows a detail of the silver crew, working on the deck of the "silver model galleon". This is the Nef which is the centre piece of the dining table when formal dinners were given.

It is a very difficult object to photograph as it is backlit.

We arrived home, and after a meal and cocktails settled down to watch the French Grand Prix.

I settled down too much and slept through the race highlights. I  have recorded the programme and will catch up later in the week.
