It's A Blipmeet!

The day started in a bit of a rush. We were due out of the house at 9am. No worries, everything was on schedule until the scaffolders chose to have a cup of tea at 8.55am, which left me with little time to grab their cups off them and put fresh ones out for the roofers who hadn't yet arrived. Kettle and cable out, more milk out and we were off to pick up Kanyl. Now Kanyl had thought I'd be just sitting reading Facebook so he had sent me a message saying don't come for him, he wasn't too well!

OK! We were still in good time to get to Fell Foot in Newby Bridge for a Blipmeet called by Tryfan46. He, Susan and her friend were here on holiday and we were joined by Fastaperture, CumbriaLass and flavia13, making 6 blippers. After coffee in the Boathouse Café, we had a lovely stroll around a large wildflower meadow. We enjoy wildflowers and Susan was very knowledgeable.

The queue for lunch was long so Jerra and I said our goodbyes and had lunch at Lakeland Ltd in Windermere.

What a lovely day.
