An abundance of grass but no poppies

I took a walk up the hill this morning when I discovered there was no Tai Chi this week.  A lovely morning that has since clouded over but remained warm.  

Both pheasant chicks were out with a female under the bird feeders this morning - I’m not sure if she is mum.

Garden Centre this afternoon to buy a few plants for one of my large wooden boxes and also to fill a gap where Merv has removed a plant for me.
