Gently down the stream

You tell me

This is probably a redshank but I think with those feathers a young one??  Can someone help me?  It was sitting on a post making the most crazy racket, no idea why.

I've had a most lovely day at Lymington and a decent walk round the salterns.  Salt must have been quite an industry there in times past, the acreage is enormous.  There are always a surprising number of people around the Town Quay and marina, but it's easy to walk away from the crowds.  What fun!  I saw some stinking irises still out, which surprised me, and huge numbers of dog roses.

Hope you've all had satisfying days.  Look after yourselves  xx
