Bee landing

I 'rescued' this red poppy from a crack in the pavement this morning, then planted it next to our pond. No sooner was it positioned than this bee flew in to take a look. I don't know if the poppy will survive its house move, but here's hoping. I'd love to host some red poppies amongst my yellow ones.

Today at work I assessed research, reviewed a grant application, supervised a PhD student, finished off my presentation for delivery 'in' South Africa tomorrow, gave Marina feedback at a conference paper dry-run session, and waded through email. More of similar tomorrow...
