The meadows were absolutely glorious on today's walk from Youlgreave, especially the fields of buttercups! Not for too much longer though, as hay was being cut, turned and baled all along our route... presumably before tonight's rain.

The extra shows flower plaques created for the well dressing festival, what a shame two of them had fallen out.

My neighbour called me over the fence when I got home, and offered me his definitive climbing guide to Langdale, and others. I'm not sure if he's lending or giving because he had to stop climbing a few years ago due to heart problems, but either will be much appreciated.

11.5 miles
Ascent unknown as I forgot to stop Strava before driving home!
