Not a good day.

The first full day of our short nature holiday in North Wales was not one to remember
with joy.
First, it rained all day. Much of it quite heavily. But we are well equipped to cope with that.

More seriously is the fact that Mrs. K. is at present laying on the bed with a sprained, swollen, painful ankle.
As breakfast in the hotel was quite late we had gone out for an early walk. The fact that Mrs. K.
has been a walker all her life was no protection against her foot going into a hidden rabbit hole
which led to her laying on the ground in front of me.
So the next country walk was changed to a search for a Pharmacy where I could buy a bandage
and some anti inflammatory gel.

So no chance of exciting nature blips today.
The best I can offer is the railway station with the longest one word name in Europe.

And in extras a rather impressive bracket fungus.

Let us hope things have improved by tomorrow when the sunshine returns.
