Ashwell Cross

This is Whidbourne Manor in Bishopsteignton which dates back to about 1450, I believe. I missed the best of the days weather doing other stuff.

We've been booking our trip to France with the campervan in June. We're taking the ferry from Plymouth to Santander in Spain which will get us down there nicely relaxed (as long as the ship's stabilizers do a good job in the Bay of Biscay). It's expensive enough by the time you've booked a cabin but at least there's a saving in fuel and stress. The major faff for me is organising travel insurance with pre-existing health conditions. If you don't have to do this, count yourself lucky. If you do, you'll know how sitting on the phone and going through a long and nonsensical checklist can lead to intense frustration!

Anyway with that and a few other bits going on I didn't get out until the rain had started so it was a quick drive by shooting.
