Wound up in Wexford

Lesser trefoil

Once again we've largely spent the day at our own premises.  I did briefly emerge to visit the farm shop for our weekly supplies of fruit and veggies.

So for a blip, it's back to the weeds uncultivated plants found in our garden.  This plant is commonly found in what laughingly passes as a lawn in our garden, but I also found it growing in profusion around the pond.  The flowers are tiny versions of clover flowers, its leaves have three leaflets, and it is believed to be the original traditional Irish shamrock.
