Another Ladybird Blip

After yesterday's shot of a ladybird larva, I think that this is a ladybird pupa - and as you can see it more closely resembles the classic ladybird shape. This is the last stage before it becomes an adult.

I do not know if this is a native variety or one of the harlequins. However, given that there are dozens of the harlequin larvae similar to yesterday's, then I think that there is a good chance this is also a harlequin.

Here I used a little LED torch to light up the bug.

I am struggling with losing ‘stuff’ at the moment and have misplaced my LED panel! Everything I own seems to have developed a set of legs and the moment I put something down - it disappears.
