Ladybird Larva

It was our grand daughter’s seventh birthday today so we drove  (I say ‘we’ - but Mrs madwill drove (even though she is not happy driving my car as it is much bigger than she is used to) down to spend a couple of hours with them. It was just long enough for her to open her presents and for me to make final adjustments to her new bicycle. We also managed coffee and a birthday bun!

Back home for lunch…then a quick garden safari with macro lens for me to find a blip photo.

I found loads of ladybird larvae on our lavatera bush, including this spiky one, which (I think) is a Harlequin.
