Hen do

I wasn't on the hen do but my SIL sent this photo of her two daughters on their day out yesterday in London. There was a just a small party of 8 who spent from early afternoon until early evening outside at this Italian restaurant. They had booked for a late lunch but the owners were delighted they were having such a lovely, long awaited celebration they invited them to stay as long as they wanted. Katherine has had to postpone her wedding, like so many other brides to be. It is booked now for 24th July but with the extended restrictions they still can't be certain it will go ahead as planned! With that in mind they have previously booked a registry office ceremony so they will be formally married during the week before. If everything else is allowed to go ahead they will still have the church blessing and the reception. It's so horrible to still have everything so up in the air this close to what should have been such a wonderful celebration. A sign of the times we all wish didn't exist!
