They're back!

It was warm enough today that the bees were back on the lavender in the front garden. Not many, but enough that it felt almost springlike. 

I did my grocery shop this morning and then took Abe for a good walk at the Wetlands. We didn't see a single other dog; it was lovely. He was such a good boy.

Home to do some tidying (we're going away for a couple of nights this week and I needed to get the spare room ready for our niece, who will be looking after Nikau. Abe's coming with us.)

A quick visit to the in-laws this evening before dinner to drop some pretty flowers off and to say 'hello'.

I'm doing a photography workshop tomorrow (I'm the teacher!), so I'm going to finish preparing for that and then head to bed.
