This little clematis flower has survived the heavy rain, unlike the roses which have taken a real battering. I had a dead heading session of the roses, those I could reach. I have a good gadget, long handled secateurs. They have a 2ft reach, and they mostly grip the cutting so you don’t drop it. An excellent tool.
I have had a busy day. Apart from gardening, I did housework, and I finished the jigsaw. (Extra). It was a fascinating jigsaw, a map of the UK, intricately illustrated. I love maps, it was the perfect jigsaw for me. I am sad it is finished, but it was a dreadful time waster.
