Farm Flowers

Sunny and hot but beautiful blue skies and puffy clouds all day. Up before 6:00 am to take pictures without shadows or glare. You can enjoy a few shots that I took of my sister’s many varieties of flowers. She runs drip lines in her flower pots when she is back in Maryland and boy does that pay off. My granddaughter and I have been trading sunrise and sunset photos. Kids need an interest and maybe photography can be hers. The back deck is shady most of the morning so once everyone was up, we sat out there for ages enjoying the breeze and each other’s company. The birds that live in the back yard are different than those that come to the front yard feeders. It was so peaceful listening to their melodious songs. And we saw a pair of yellow warblers which was quite a treat. The neighbor and her daughter visited. They left two tubs of sewing material but they helped find a use for a lot of it. We chatted for awhile and we’re treated to a red breasted grosbeak. Of course, my phone was inside but my sister got some good shots. The guys had another nice ATV ride and were ready for naps when they returned. My side kick has been close all day. Leftovers for dinner plus a delish zucchini, onion, pepper, garlic and pizza sauce side dish. “A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.” - Chinese Proverb. Thanks for dropping by. Love you stars ans comments.
