Bee On Flower

Well I appear to have got my camera talking to my speed light (flashgun) and the flash does fire when I press the camera shutter…

However - I am not convinced that the ETTL is giving a balanced exposure….

Anyway, here is the result of one of my practice shots of a bumble bee!

I was expecting the flower to be brighter - this is taken from about 30cm with the macro lens - but the speed light display seems to indicate a range of 18 metres!!

The bee does look quite bright - and of course, as always, it looks so much better in large!











Q…. why can you never hear a Pterodactyl going to the toilet?
A…. because the Pee is silent
