Goat Fell

At 2,867ft Goat Fell is the highest peak on Arran. Not an original scene but a recognisable landmark. We didn't climb today but had a really lovely walk up Glen Rosa towards it. A very, very pretty glen with water for swimming (Flora only) and an abundance of wildlife (see extra - to be treated with respect). Dragonflies, butterflies, moths, much bird and plantlife. And warm, really hot, sun. A few other walkers, campers and swimmers. Delightful morning.

Now relaxing in the sun after coffee and lunch. Feel it's going to be a fairly inactive afternoon. After another indifferent night's sleep I'm feeling lazy though I'm sure I'll soon feel the need of a further stroll.
