Parent and chick

This morning I went bowling then after coffee at F's we went food shopping.

This afternoon it became really warm.  I didn't have a blip so went to the castle where a pair of moorhens were looking after their single chick which was ideal for a photo. I love their big black feet and little pink wing buds!
