If you can't beat them...

Allotmenteering.

Our first full day in Edinburgh visiting Katkatkat.  The first time since the pandemic started.  The main aim for our few days was to help her get the allotment back under control.  Being one of the vulnerable group she hasn't been out and about and working on her allotment.

The biggest problem was the raspberries they had spread like wildfire a cross a path and covering about a third of three of the beds.  Guess who was given the job of digging them out!  There were times when I expected to see a Kangaroo hanging on to the end of the root as I got it to the surface.

By the end of the day it was beginning to look quite reasonable again.  The blip?  Oh just before the Pandemic the allotment next to KKK changed hands, the lady who has taken over has grown a lot of flowers as well as food plants.  The foxglove caught my eye, I don't know if she planted it or it is an interloper but it was looking good.
