Independence and freedom, potato salad, stars and stripes, sparklers and patriotic music - these are some of my most favorite things about the fourth of July • The cool rain will not dampen our celebratory mood. Potato salad is made, alcoholic beverages are on ice and we’re currently watching the film “Independence Day” starring Will Smith. What better way to spend a rainy afternoon than kicking some Alien butt! As you can see my lap buddy, Ducky, isn’t the least bit interested. He’s likely seen the movie too many times ;) • I hope you’re all enjoying your Sunday in an equally pleasant way! • Happy Birthday to the good ol’ USA!
