The idea of mixing a partially vaccinated population with an endemically infected younger generation not producing a vaccine resistant strain of covid is so improbable you have to assume the 'plan' of our populist nationalist administration is to become the plague capital of the world.

From there you realise the timed outing of Hancock's little escapade was a deliberate move in order to bring in a minister who could bring himself to be the facilitator of such a plan.
