Barty Party

We spent several nerve racking hours watching Ash Barty and Karolina Pliskova play in the final of the Ladies’ Singles at Wimbledon. Ash won. It was the most tense, emotional, glorious and uplifting sporting victory we’ve seen since Cathy Freeman won the 400m at the Sydney Olympics. Or since Evonne Goolagong won Wimbledon in 1971.
