Far Out, man...

An expression that had faded from my consciousness until I read the July Mono Monday themes :-)
Those were innocent days...
And here's a fine group of survivors from the '60s. They entertain our grandchildren on a regular basis.  Barefoot and smiling, they wear their waistcoats and bandanas and chunky jewellery with pride.  They would definitely say 'far out', and 'ace!' and call policemen 'the fuzz'.
If I sound a bit dazed, that may be down to having spent an intensive day looking after Luca. He did not sleep much last night apparently, probably because of teething (or minor tummy pains, or both). So  he was finding it difficult to settle to anything much, and uncharacteristically lost his good humour at intervals.  However, we had a reasonable day together despite that. It has rained almost all day, and so staying put in the house and pottering about suited all of us.
