Pause and Wonder

I have been trying to remember to pause and take in the sights that bring wonder. This was one of them this morning on my walk.
After reading my sister’s blip (Impromptu Intentions), I had to quote part of the article she linked to by Miles Richardson, professor of Human Factors and Nature Connectedness at Derby University - “not simply visiting nature more – but more actively engaging with its detail and texture…It was the increased noticing of nature that explained improvements in wellbeing…The deeper the engagement, the greater the benefit – and this is where art can help. (Blip!) It acts as a provocation or a prompt. It makes you pause. You notice, and appreciate.”
